Visitors to the library are welcome to use our computers and connect to online resources.
Computing and Printing
Computers are located throughout the library for both individual and group use. There are two collaborative screen-sharing stations on the second (main) floor of the library and all group study rooms are equipped with flat screen TVs connected to computers, with the ability to connect laptops as well. (Additional information about the technology available in group study rooms is available on our Room Reservations page.) Carrels with computers on the 1st and 3rd floors provide individual quiet areas to work.
Printers, scanners, and a large-format poster printer are also available.
All printers in the Library (except for the Quick Print station) are multi-function devices; they allow you to print, copy, and scan. Use your Crimson card for easy card-swipe authentication at printers or login using your IU credentials.

Computer Technology
Computers are equipped with a robust software suite, including many standard applications. Both Windows and Mac workstations are available. All library computers require authorized Indiana University logins.
Adaptive Technology Center (LB208)
The purpose of the Adaptive Technology Center (ATC) at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Library is to help people with disabilities of all ages throughout the community enhance their lives and increase their independence and productivity through the use of adaptive technology.

Library Instruction Lab (LB235)
The Library Instruction Lab includes student computers and an instructor's station and is located on the second floor (LB235). The instruction lab is available as a public computer lab when it is not being used for instruction. To reserve LB235 for library instruction, please contact Maria Accardi, Coordinator of Library Instruction, maccardi@iu.edu.
Wireless Networks
Wireless access is available for IU students, faculty, and staff, and community borrowers. .
Guest Access to Technology in the IU Southeast Library
Community members can use our computers to access resources by obtaining a guest account. You will need a valid government-issued photo ID to obtain a guest account.

Laptops and Other Technology Available to Borrow
Laptops, laptop chargers, adapter cables (HDMI, USB-C, etc.), and webcams are available for short-term checkout to 911±¬ÁÏÍø students, faculty, and staff. Contact the Service Desk at (812) 941-2485 to check availability.
We also have phone charging stations throughout the Library that have connectors for iPhones and Androids.
