Faculty Services
The Library Instruction Program at 911±¬ÁÏÍø seeks to support the educational programs of the University by providing effective, relevant, student-centered instructional services. Through our instructional services, the Library also seeks to support the successful integration of Information Literacy--one of the University's General Education Goals and Outcomes--into the University curriculum. Purchase Request
The IU Southeast Library Collection is largely formed by the Purchase Requests of faculty members for the instructional and general education needs of the students of our university. Additionally, faculty make Purchase Requests to have materials available for their major areas of research and scholarship.
Interlibrary Loan
As a service to its faculty, staff, and students, the IU Southeast Library will borrow requested materials from other libraries. This service is provided at no additional charge. Zero Textbook Cost Initiative
The Zero Textbook Cost Initiative supports instructors in their efforts to adopt and create zero cost course materials. Faculty are provided with a stipend up to $1,000 to review an open access textbook, adopt zero cost course readings, or adopt and adapt zero cost resources for their courses.
Streaming and Digitization Services
IU Southeast Library provides access to several streaming platforms and thousands of streaming titles available for use in courses. When no streaming options are available, the library has a streaming service that will digitize complete video recordings when certain conditions are met.
IUScholarWorks Depositing
Depositing your research into makes your research Open Access and increases equitable access to your scholarly output. The IU Southeast Library can help you deposit your articles and ensure that you are complying with all copyright and publisher restrictions.
